|Carl's Sartorius von Waltershausen
Just as Wolfgang was close friends with the most famous
mathematician in the world, his parents were close friends of the most
famous writer in the German speaking world, Goethe. Besides the
correspondence below, he apparently visited Waltershausen. George
was a writer, lecturer and professor of economics and history. He is
best known in his role of translator and popularizer of Adam Smith's
Wealth of Nations.
